History
Chef Kieron Hales’ career officially began when he enrolled in the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in England. At that time, he was only 13 years old. Since then, Kieron has traveled to 27 nations and lived there while cooking.
To work with Zingerman and pursue his professional goals, Kieron immigrated to the United States in 2008. He created Zingerman’s Cornman Farms after serving as Executive Chef of Zingerman’s Roadhouse for a while. Kieron wears many hats for his farm. He enjoys gardening, creating menus, teaching workshops, leading tours, serving visitors, coaching staff, and sharing his food knowledge.
Zingerman’s Event Spaces
Red Barn
An elevated American symbol built in 1837, the Red Barn was painstakingly renovated and refurbished and had a magnificent gabled roof. The Red Barn, which is tucked among the planted grounds, emanates rural charm. The amenities include wood-burning fireplaces, heating and cooling, an elevator, toilets, and a built-in bar. The lounge below has leather furniture, a double bar, separate bathrooms for men and women, a fireplace, and a patio.

The upper level includes a dressing room, sitting area, hair and makeup room, and full bathroom, providing a roomy, tranquil setting with all the necessities for you and your bridal party to get ready.
The basement floor of the establishment boasts a spacious demonstration kitchen, a cozy library complete with a warm fireplace, and two elegantly appointed bathrooms. The adjacent dining and living rooms provide the perfect backdrop for hosting your family and wedding party throughout the day.
The Tent Pavilion
The Tent Pavilion is a stunning peak pole tent that lets in natural light and fresh air to create an amazing wedding reception and al fresco dining experience.
The Grove
A drive lined with trees is to the right of the farmhouse, and the grove is in front of it. With a traditional Michigan farmhouse in the back, this is a fantastic venue for an outdoor ceremony.
