In Dexter, Michigan, only a short drive from Ann Arbor, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms is a renowned working farm, wedding location, and award-winning event space.

On this 27-acre farm, they offer events of all sizes with an artistic approach to service. So, let’s get in deep to see what this beautiful place as a wedding venue has to offer!

Chef Kieron Hales’ career officially began when he enrolled in the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in England. At that time, he was only 13 years old. Since then, Kieron has traveled to 27 nations and lived there while cooking.

To work with Zingerman and pursue his professional goals, Kieron immigrated to the United States in 2008. He created Zingerman’s Cornman Farms after serving as Executive Chef of Zingerman’s Roadhouse for a while. Kieron wears many hats for his farm. He enjoys gardening, creating menus, teaching workshops, leading tours, serving visitors, coaching staff, and sharing his food knowledge.

Red Barn

An elevated American symbol built in 1837, the Red Barn was painstakingly renovated and refurbished and had a magnificent gabled roof. The Red Barn, which is tucked among the planted grounds, emanates rural charm. The amenities include wood-burning fireplaces, heating and cooling, an elevator, toilets, and a built-in bar. The lounge below has leather furniture, a double bar, separate bathrooms for men and women, a fireplace, and a patio.

The rustic setting offers a perfect location for cocktail hour, dessert, and photos, as well as a place for the bridal party to get dressed. The loft’s upper floor has stunningly high ceilings, a gabled roof, and a sizable open space for dancing. In case of bad weather, you can have your ceremony in this area instead.
