"This may be one of the hardest things I will ever write, just because I cannot find the words to communicate how wonderful, amazing, fun, dedicated, professional, creative, and special Shuhrat is. During the consultation call, I knew Shuhrat was our photographer by her curiosity and care in getting to know us. Her photos genuinely capture the love between you as a couple; it's been over a year since our engagement photos and people still say they stare at them! I literally gasped at our wedding photos, too. Shuhrat is more than a photographer; she is someone who you want alongside the happiest day of your life! She was able to navigate successfully through all the hectic situations that are natural with a wedding and managed to capture some breath-taking photos of the memorable moments through our wedding. She gave us our photos shortly after the event with quick post editing time. She captured mesmerizing bridal photos of me that looked like they belong in a magazine. "I honestly do not know where to begin this review.... All I can say is you will miss out on some AH-MAZINGLY SPECTACULAR photos if you do not use Life & Lights. I shopped around A TON before I found this gem of a photographer! I actually had about 40 or more options I had looked into, from FB group referrals to TheKnot, Wedding Wire referrals and others. She even catered to our budget and worked some magic to bless us with her presence on our wedding day. She even made sure to check out the location beforehand, so she was familiar on the day of. She was extremely professional, personable, caring, and just always in such a positive mood! She will let you have the direction, or she will take over when needed - she did a wonderful job getting pictures of everything we wanted AND MORE! Life and Lights will be the one photographer I will refer to friends and family over and over again - probably for the rest of my life LOL. My wedding guests as well as family even loved her! We were on a tight schedule for our photo session and was able to fit in so many wonderful pictures. She is very knowledgeable about photography, lighting, indoor/outdoor settings and she was even able to direct our bridal group of 14 people with absolutely no issues. She walked around like a badass - no, ... she IS A BADASS with two cameras at her side like gun holsters, ready to shoot some photos!!! I'm just saying, you already found your photographer right here!!! and you will not regret it! "From an introverted guys perspective, the idea of taking professional pictures was quite intimidating. However, as Shuhrat made apparent quickly, a photo session can be an extremely fun when you have the right person behind the camera. It was so relieving to have a photographer who strays away from the cliche, looking at the camera images; instead focusing on capturing beautiful moments that really display the connection and energy that comes from being with someone you love. Until this point, I would always look at photos taken of me and say “wow I look awkward and weird”. But for the first time I looked at the photos and thought “damn I look pretty good”. Therefore, I will always recommend someone who has the ability to change my entire outlook and confidence when it comes to taking photos. Excellent work and I look forward to future shoots!"
